Empty head is a comparison, two conditions compared.
The first one is captured in the landscape, the second one evoked by the empty outline of the person.
In a state of solitude, the individual resists the dispersion of himself by appealing to certain gestures that are 'classic' to him. These become fixed and monumentalized.
Each person becomes a statue of himself.
